The Tampa Bay '96 AAA Lightning will host their first annual tournament December 12-14, 2008 in the Tampa Bay area.  Several of North America's top teams have inquired and/or requested an invitation already.  We invite you to travel to the sunshine state to compete with the top teams in North America in our inaugural event!

The Tampa Bay area is a great place to be in mid-December.  Temperatures average mid to upper 70's during the day and mid to upper 50's at night.  Although the Gulf of Mexico water is too cold for us Floridian's, you northerner's will find our water temperatures to be cool and refreshing.  Tournament games will be held at the Ellenton Ice & Sports Complex.  Depending on the NHL schedule, we plan to host the Semi's and Finals at the St. Pete Times Forum, home of the Tampa Bay Lightning.  The rink is conveniently situated just minutes from hotels, shopping, restaurant's, and beaches.  Come join us in December!
